#LGBTSTEMDay — July 5th, 2018

We’re excited to be teaming up with Pride in STEM and InterEngineering to organise the first ever International Day of LGBT+ people in STEM on July 5th, 2018.

We announced ‘LGBTSTEM Day’ last week, and you can look back on some of the discussions at #LGBTSTEMDay on Twitter, this article on Silicon Republic, and on the LGBTSTEM Day website.

We’ve already got fantastic support from Science Gallery, Ecsite, the CERN LGBTQ group, the Royal Society of Chemistry, Wellcome Trust, and others. You can help us spread the word even further by telling your friends and colleagues, your university, your research institute, your scientific society, your LGBT+ staff and student network — everyone who supports a global push to increase diversity and inclusion in STEM.

Anyone interested in taking part or organising a local event can download our Toolkit on the LGBTSTEM Day website or email
